The 2012 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. Harley built the Heritage Softail Classic to look like a bike from another era while riding like a modern one, and the 96B's rubber-mounted, counter-balanced design is a big part of that — smoother at highway speed than the earlier Evolution-powered Heritage models, without losing the low-end torque cruiser riders expect. It's a bike built for road trips, which is exactly where a screen earns its keep.
The HogPlay Media Screen mounts to the handlebars in view of the rider, wires straight to power and ground, and works in either orientation so it fits the Heritage Classic's bar layout without special brackets. Once it's connected, wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto runs navigation and music straight off the rider's phone.
Behind the screen, the HogPlay Media Screen runs dual Bluetooth so a 2012 Heritage Classic rider can stay connected on two fronts at once — one channel paired to the phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the other free to feed an auxiliary amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker.
