2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Models

Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto for the 2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide

Every 2011 Electra Glide trim — Standard, Classic, Standard, and Ultra Limited — used the same legacy Harman/Kardon-era stereo, engineered with no CarPlay support built in and no way for any dealer to add it after the fact through a factory update or safety recall.

About 2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Models

The Electra Glide nameplate is where Harley's big touring fairing started, and in 2011 the Electra Glide, Electra Glide Classic, Electra Glide Standard, and Electra Glide Ultra Limited all carried a factory AM/FM audio system in that fairing. It's a mature, well-integrated stereo for its time, but it predates any form of smartphone connectivity — there was no CarPlay standard yet for Harley to build toward.

HogPlay updates any 2011 Electra Glide with a CarPlay-ready aftermarket radio that fits the factory fairing, or a bar-mounted Media Screen that adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto without disturbing the original gauges. Riders comparing it to the same year's Street Glide or Road Glide get identical upgrade paths, since all three share the same factory fairing design and the same mounting points.
