About 2011 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Models

Road Glide's frame-mounted "shark nose" fairing has housed a factory audio system since well before 2011, and that year's Road Glide, Road Glide Custom, Road Glide Ultra, and Road Glide Ultra/Limited all carry the same era-correct AM/FM setup. It plays music and takes a CD, but there's no touchscreen and no smartphone pairing beyond basic audio — CarPlay didn't exist yet when this system was engineered.

HogPlay brings a 2011 Road Glide current with a CarPlay-ready aftermarket radio that fits the factory fairing opening, or a bar-mounted Media Screen for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto that leaves the stock stereo alone. Riders comparing the base Road Glide to the fully-dressed Road Glide Ultra get the same two options, and both installs are reversible if the bike ever gets sold.
