2003 Road Glide CarPlay Upgrade

The 100th-anniversary Road Glide and its Road Glide with Sidecar (FLTRI) counterpart carried commemorative badging and special paint over the same shark-nose fairing and the exact same legacy AM/FM deck that has defined this platform since the 2000 model year, well before anyone imagined CarPlay.

About 2003 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Models

Four model years in and the Road Glide's dash still hadn't changed — the 2003 anniversary edition added special paint and badging, but the AM/FM/weatherband tuner behind the fairing was carried straight over from the standard 2002 bike. The FLTRI sidecar variant shares that same setup. If anything, the anniversary trim makes the radio gap more noticeable: a commemorative motorcycle running a stereo with zero smartphone support.

The fitment doesn't change either — an aftermarket CarPlay radio built for the Road Glide fairing opening drops into the 2003 anniversary model exactly as it does earlier years. A bar-mounted Media Screen is the option for owners keeping the anniversary dash face untouched, on either the standard Road Glide or the Road Glide with Sidecar (FLTRI), no factory removal required.
