About 2003 Motorcycles
Every 2003 model wore a 100th-anniversary badge somewhere, but under the chrome the audio hardware hadn't moved: touring bikes kept their basic AM/FM head unit, and non-touring models kept their empty dash. Anniversary trim added paint and medallions, not electronics. A hundred years of company history didn't buy a single extra speaker wire on any trim level, badged or otherwise, that model year.
A century after the company's founding, adding wireless CarPlay to a 2003 Harley-Davidson takes the same two paths as any bike from this era: an aftermarket CarPlay radio for touring models, or a handlebar Media Screen for Softail, Dyna, and Sportster models with no radio bay to work from. Anniversary-edition touring bikes use the same mounting points as standard trims, so the swap doesn't disturb any of the commemorative badging.
