The factory setup, though, tops out at an AM/FM cassette head unit — no Bluetooth, no navigation, nothing modern. Mounting the HogPlay Media Screen is straightforward: the 7-inch unit clamps to the handlebar in view of the rider, then wires to a switched power source and ground under the fairing or tank console. No cutting into the factory wiring harness is required, and the mount reverses for left- or right-hand bar placement, fitting the FLHTCU/I's cockpit regardless of how the sidecar linkage runs.
