1996 CVO Road Glide CarPlay Fitment

Harley's first CVO trim for 1996 is the CVO Road Glide — a factory-custom edition with premium paint, upgraded trim, and extra chrome, but the same basic AM/FM cassette deck as any standard touring model that year, hidden behind all that extra polish, chrome, and one-off paint.

About 1996 Harley-Davidson CVO Models

CVO in 1996 meant custom paint, upgraded trim, and a handful of factory extras layered onto the standard Road Glide platform — but the stereo wasn't one of the upgrades. The CVO Road Glide left the factory with the identical AM/FM cassette head unit found in the regular lineup, just wrapped in a nicer fairing and a one-off color scheme.

Since the CVO Road Glide shares its fairing and dash opening with the standard model, the same aftermarket CarPlay radio drops in directly, giving this one factory-custom bike wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to match its upgraded paint job. Compare it against the standard Road King or Electra Glide family pages to see how fitment differs across the rest of the 1996 lineup.
