The PMX-HD14 is Rockford Fosgate's Harley touring infotainment source unit — an aftermarket head unit that replaces the factory radio, using factory mounting points, OEM electrical connectors and supplied trim panels. Rockford Fosgate lists it as fitting select 2014-2023 Harley-Davidson models; check their compatibility chart against your bike before ordering, as exact years vary by model.
It runs Apple CarPlay. It does not do Android Auto — Rockford Fosgate's own spec sheet says so plainly, and it is the one unit we sell where that gap exists. Factory thumb controls carry over with no additional parts, and the unit supports CB and wireless headset connectivity. Wired intercom headsets on Ultra models need a 'push to talk' interface.
What HogPlay adds to your PMX-HD14

What each part does
USB Piglets
A USB Piglet plugs into the head unit's USB port and adds Mirror Link and AirCast screen mirroring — mirroring your phone's actual screen to the dash, which no head unit does on its own. On the PMX-HD14 it also adds Android Auto, which this unit does not have natively (it does CarPlay only).
Media Boxes
A Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and other streaming apps to the PMX-HD14, running them on the screen you already have.
Why there's no bypass adaptor here
A bypass adaptor unlocks a factory CarPlay head unit. Once a Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD14 is installed there's no factory radio left to unlock — the PMX-HD14 already does CarPlay itself. What HogPlay adds on top is screen mirroring and streaming, not activation.
