2026 Indian Challenger CarPlay & Ride Command Fix

Both the base Challenger and the fully-loaded Challenger Limited run Indian's Ride Command touchscreen, and Ride Command's one blind spot shows up immediately for Android riders: Apple CarPlay works fine over USB, but Android Auto isn't part of the system on either trim.

About 2026 Indian Challenger Models

Ride Command's wired Apple CarPlay support makes the Challenger an easy bike to live with if you're on an iPhone — plug in and the factory screen just works. The Challenger Limited's larger 10.4-inch display runs the identical software underneath, so it inherits the identical restriction.

Android Auto is where both trims fall short, since Indian built Ride Command without it, and no software update is going to add it later. A Ride Command bypass paired with a bypass adaptor is the practical fix for getting phone mirroring working the way it should on either the Challenger or the Limited.
