The 2026 101 Scout is Indian's premium heritage tribute, named for the legendary 101 cubic-inch Scout of the 1920s and finished with the deepest chrome, two-tone paint, and retro badging in the entire lineup. Underneath that showpiece finish sits the modern liquid-cooled SpeedPlus 1250 V-Twin, delivering real 2026 performance behind a century-old name. True to its old-world design language, the 101 Scout carries no factory touchscreen, just a classic analog gauge. The HogPlay Media Screen mounts to the handlebar and wires into power and ground, quietly adding wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to Indian's most heritage-forward Scout.
No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2026 Indian 101 Scout left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

The 101 Scout's showpiece chrome and vintage badging leave the handlebar clear of any factory display, and the HogPlay Media Screen was built to sit there cleanly without clashing with the retro finish.
Power and ground are the only two wires the install needs, and the mount is fully reversible, so the 101 Scout's heritage look can revert to pure stock any time you like.
