The 2025 Road King Special carries over essentially unchanged from 2024 — same Milwaukee-Eight 114, same blacked-out headlamp nacelle in place of a fairing, same quick-detach windshield. What's new this year is paint: the FLHRXS ships in three factory colorways — a light-gray tank over a blacked-out nacelle, an all-black scheme, and a red/orange scheme. None of that touches the electronics — there's still no fairing to hold a head unit, so the bike leaves the factory with no radio and no screen.
