The 2025 Road King lineup narrows to a single trim, the Road King Special, which trades the old analog gauges for Harley's Skyline touchscreen behind its compact headlight nacelle. About 2025 Harley-Davidson Road King Models
The Road King Special keeps the model's signature low windscreen and stripped-back stance, but under that dash it's running the same Skyline platform found on Harley's full-fairing tourers. Apple CarPlay is tied to a paired-headset Bluetooth connection there too, so a stock USB cord into the bike never triggers the phone-mirroring interface.
A Skyline-compatible bypass fixes that mismatch, and once it's wired in, a Media Box gives the Road King Special full wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on its factory screen — the Road King Special keeps every stock button doing exactly what it always did.
