The 2024 Pan America 1250 Special continues to run the Revolution Max 1250 and continues to leave the handlebars completely bare — no screen, no radio, nothing to plug a phone into. Harley built this generation for off-road capability, not infotainment. HogPlay's bar-mounted Media Screen is the fix, adding wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto where nothing existed before.
No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2024 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Special left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. Running the Revolution Max 1250, the 2024 Pan America 1250 Special is built to handle everything from interstate slabs to backcountry trail, with semi-active damping and a riding position tuned for long days in the saddle. Infotainment was never part of that formula — the cockpit is intentionally minimal.
That minimalism is great for the trail and less great when a rider wants a map on unfamiliar roads, a hands-free call, or music without digging for a phone. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto answer all three, but the 2024 Special has no factory screen to display them on.
