The 2022 Indian Scout Rogue is the first year Indian split the sport-bobber trim off the standard Scout: a 19-inch front wheel, mini-ape handlebars, and blacked-out hardware finished off with a small quarter flyscreen up front. That flyscreen throws wind, not information — there's no gauge screen, no factory head unit, and no CarPlay hiding anywhere on the bike; the only factory USB is an accessory port tucked under the seat, not a spot you'd dock a phone. HogPlay closes the gap with a 7-inch CarPlay and Android Auto screen carrying its own built-in speakers, mounted at the bars and powered off universal USB power — nothing to splice, nothing to send to a dealer.
No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2022 Indian Scout Rogue left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. Behind the small flyscreen up front there's no gauge cluster with a screen, no factory head unit, and no built-in CarPlay or Android Auto — Indian kept the cockpit analog on every Rogue, with the bike's only factory USB an accessory port under the seat rather than anything dash-mounted.
