The 2022 Fat Bob keeps the Milwaukee-Eight 114 and the wide front tire that make it stand out, and it keeps the same bare-bars cockpit too — no radio, no screen, nothing to plug a phone into. HogPlay's bar-mount Media Screen changes that, bringing wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a bike Harley built without either.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2022 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2022 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2022 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob

The 2022 Fat Bob's Milwaukee-Eight 114 sits in a stripped-back cockpit with no fairing and no gauge pod large enough for a factory screen. It's a bike designed to look uncluttered, and the electronics reflect that.

The tradeoff is that a 2022 Fat Bob rider gets no built-in navigation, no hands-free calling, and no music interface — everything routes through a phone in a pocket or mount instead. Adding wireless CarPlay and Android Auto puts that same functionality on a proper screen at the bars.

Because there's no factory radio on the 2022 Fat Bob to work around, the HogPlay Media Screen is built to be the entire head unit itself: mount it to the handlebars, wire power and ground, and it runs wireless CarPlay and Android Auto independently. It also supports Bluetooth audio in both directions, so riders can pair it to a portable speaker or route it into an existing amp and speaker setup.

The HogPlay Media Screen on the 2022 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob runs a dual-Bluetooth design — pair your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on one channel while the other feeds an auxiliary amplifier, handlebar speakers or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on the move, and the fully sealed, waterproof housing is built rugged to stand up to the weather and the elements the 2022 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob rides in.

Android Auto on the 2022 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob: HogPlay makes the 2022 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob run wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay — compare every Android Auto for Harley-Davidson & Indian motorcycles option, then confirm your exact fit with What Fits.
