Long-haul riders on the Ultra Limited expect the dash to double as a navigation screen, but Harley's Boom!Box GTS platform only accepts phone audio over Bluetooth — the touchscreen itself never receives a CarPlay signal until a bypass is added. The three-wheeled Tri Glide Ultra runs the identical restriction under its own fairing.
HogPlay's Boom!Box GTS bypass paired with a Media Box gives either the Ultra Limited or the Tri Glide Ultra genuine wired CarPlay on the factory screen, with the same kit covering both machines despite their very different wheel counts.
