The 2019 Slim keeps things stripped down: solo seat, blacked-out finishes, and a Milwaukee-Eight 107 doing the work, with nothing above the bars but a speedometer. Harley never ran a wire for a screen or a stereo on this one. A bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen fills that gap on its own, putting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto right where your eyes already are.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2019 Harley-Davidson Slim left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2019 Harley-Davidson Slim and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2019 Harley-Davidson Slim

The 2019 Slim is Softail-based and built to look minimal - narrow front end, low bars, and a Milwaukee-Eight 107 that gives it plenty of torque without a fairing or any wind-blocking bodywork to hide gauges or speakers behind. That bare-bones layout is exactly why it never got a stereo or a screen from the factory - there was nowhere designed for one.

Riders who add a Slim to the stable still want the same things a rider on a bagger gets: turn-by-turn navigation, hands-free calls, and music without pulling out a phone at every stoplight. On a bike with zero factory electronics, that means starting from scratch rather than swapping out an existing head unit.

That's the case a HogPlay Media Screen is built for. It's a self-contained 7-inch display that mounts to the handlebars and wires straight to power and ground - no factory radio to tap into or bypass because there isn't one. It runs wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on its own, and its Bluetooth handles both directions: audio into the screen's built-in speakers, or audio out to a portable Bluetooth speaker or an amplifier and speaker setup you've already got installed.

The HogPlay Media Screen on the 2019 Harley-Davidson Slim runs a dual-Bluetooth design — pair your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on one channel while the other feeds an auxiliary amplifier, handlebar speakers or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on the move, and the fully sealed, waterproof housing is built rugged to stand up to the weather and the elements the 2019 Harley-Davidson Slim rides in.
