The 2019 Harley-Davidson FXDR 114 pairs a Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine with a stripped-down, flat-track-inspired stance — bars up front, nothing behind them. Harley never ran a wire for a screen or a stereo on this bike, so there's no factory radio to work around. HogPlay's bar-mounted 7-inch Media Screen fills that gap on its own, bringing wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a bike that was never meant to have either.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2019 Harley-Davidson Fxdr left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2019 Harley-Davidson Fxdr and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2019 Harley-Davidson Fxdr

The FXDR 114 is Harley-Davidson's performance-cruiser take on the Softail platform, built around the Milwaukee-Eight 114 and styled to look like it just came off a flat-track course. That stripped stance is part of the appeal, but it also means the bike arrived with nothing between the bars — no radio, no display, no way to see a map or take a call without pulling out a phone.

That's exactly the kind of blank canvas where wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto matter most. Turn-by-turn directions, calls, and music all move to a screen you can glance at while riding, instead of fumbling with a phone mounted to the bar.

Because there's no factory head unit to tap into, HogPlay built its bar-mounted Media Screen to stand entirely on its own: a 7-inch display with CarPlay and Android Auto built in, needing only a power and ground connection to run. It also carries Bluetooth audio in and out, so it can play through its own speakers or hand the sound off to a portable Bluetooth speaker or an amplifier already wired into the bike.

The HogPlay Media Screen on the 2019 Harley-Davidson Fxdr runs a dual-Bluetooth design — pair your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on one channel while the other feeds an auxiliary amplifier, handlebar speakers or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on the move, and the fully sealed, waterproof housing is built rugged to stand up to the weather and the elements the 2019 Harley-Davidson Fxdr rides in.

Android Auto on the 2019 Harley-Davidson Fxdr: HogPlay makes the 2019 Harley-Davidson Fxdr run wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay — compare every Android Auto for Harley-Davidson & Indian motorcycles option, then confirm your exact fit with What Fits.
