The 2017 Harley-Davidson Street Glide and Street Glide Special both came with a Boom! Box 4.3 or Boom! Box 6.5GT radio, not the later Boom! Box GTS, so there's no factory CarPlay, Android Auto, or headset bypass on either trim.

Bringing a 2017 Street Glide up to wireless CarPlay takes one of two upgrades. Retrofit a 2019-2023 Boom! Box GTS head unit and pair it with a HogPlay GTS Bypass to unlock it through the batwing fairing, or install an aftermarket CarPlay radio instead — see our aftermarket radios guide for compatible SoundStream, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Diamond Audio, and Aquatic AV units.
