About 2010 Harley-Davidson Softail & Cruiser Models

Harley never wired factory audio into its Softail, Dyna, or Sportster lines in 2010, from cruisers like the Fat Boy and Heritage Softail to naked customs like the Forty-Eight and Nightster. That's not a stripped-down special edition — it's the standard build across the whole 31-model range, including performance bikes like the Night Rod Special. Without a factory head unit, there's nothing to swap and nothing that could ever get a CarPlay update.

Since there's no dash-mounted radio to work with, HogPlay's fix is a bar-mounted Media Screen — a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built in, no factory stereo required, and no dealer-only wiring harness to hunt down first. It clamps to the handlebars and works the same on a Street Bob as it does on an XR1200X or an Wide Glide, with no cutting into the factory harness required.
