Factory codeFLHT
EngineTwin Cam 96
Factory head unitNo factory options — HogPlay Screen recommended
Factory USB locationNone

The 2010 Harley-Davidson Standard Sidecar pairs a Twin Cam 96-powered Softail with a third wheel, trading lean-angle cornering for planted, three-wheel stability -- a rig built for two-up touring without ever leaning into a curve. Factory equipment stopped at analog gauges and a big headlamp, with no built-in navigation or hands-free calling for the passenger tucked in the tub. Bolt on the HogPlay Media Screen and this 2010 Standard Sidecar gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto right on the bar.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2010 Harley-Davidson Standard Sidecar left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2010 Harley-Davidson Standard Sidecar and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2010 Harley-Davidson Standard Sidecar

Riding a sidecar rig changes the physics -- the Standard Sidecar's Twin Cam 96 has to pull extra weight through turns that no longer countersteer, and riders lean on the big air-cooled twin's low-end torque to keep the rig honest at stoplights and on-ramps alike. It's a different kind of Harley experience, one built for hauling a passenger in comfort rather than carving canyon roads.

The HogPlay Media Screen mounts to the handlebar in view of the rider, wires straight to a 12V power and ground point, and runs turn-by-turn navigation, calls, and music through CarPlay or Android Auto. Installation stays reversible -- no cutting into the harness, no drilling the tub -- so the sidecar rig goes back to stock anytime.

Every 2010 Standard Sidecar earns real infotainment with the HogPlay Media Screen, a bar-mounted unit built around dual Bluetooth -- one channel pairs your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the other feeds an auxiliary amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker covers turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio. Sealed, waterproof, and built rugged for whatever weather this sidecar rig rolls through.
