About 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Models

The 2008 Electra Glide family covers everything from the no-frills Standard to the fully-loaded Classic, and every trim uses the same fairing-mounted AM/FM head unit Harley had run since the late 1990s. There's no aux jack, no Bluetooth, and no factory CarPlay path on any of them — the electronics didn't change even as trim levels did. The FLHTC and FLHT sidecar variants share this same dash and wiring.

An aftermarket CarPlay head unit built for the Electra Glide's fairing pocket, paired with a HogPlay Media Box for clean integration, brings wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to any trim from the base bike to the Classic. The Electra Glide Classic with Sidecar (FLHTC) and Electra Glide with Sidecar (FLHT) use the identical kit. Check aftermarket radio options for this fairing before ordering.
