The 2007 Harley-Davidson Road Glide with Sidecar carries the shark-nose Road Glide's frame-mounted fairing into its toughest configuration yet, built to haul a sidecar's extra weight without losing composure at highway speed. 2007 was also the first year Harley dropped the Twin Cam 96 into the Touring line alongside the new six-speed Cruise Drive transmission, giving this sidecar-equipped FLTR more low-end pull for hauling a passenger and gear. What it never got was a factory screen, so this 2007 Road Glide with Sidecar gets the HogPlay Media Screen instead.
No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2007 Harley-Davidson Road Glide with Sidecar (FLTR) left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

Sidecar duty asks a lot of a touring platform: added drag, more unsprung weight, constant crosswind correction. The FLTR's frame-mounted fairing and Twin Cam 96 torque were built to handle exactly that kind of load, but Harley never wired a screen into this rig. Whatever audio or navigation you had came from your own head unit, or nothing at all.
The HogPlay Media Screen fixes that without touching the fairing or dash. The 7-inch unit clamps to the handlebar, runs two wires to power and ground, and mounts in either orientation, so it drops into a sidecar-equipped FLTR's cockpit as easily as it would on a solo bike.
Behind that HogPlay Media Screen is dual Bluetooth built for a 2007 FLTR Sidecar's long hauls: one channel pairs your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the other feeds an auxiliary amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker riding along for the trip. A built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn prompts and light audio on its own. The housing is fully sealed and waterproof, rugged enough for whatever the road, and the sidecar, throw at it.
