The 2005 Harley-Davidson Super Glide Sport carries the FXDX's street-fighter edge into its final model year on the Dyna platform — twin front disc brakes, firmer sport-tuned suspension, and a low bikini fairing set it apart from the standard Super Glide, all backed by the torquey air-cooled Twin Cam 88 V-twin. What it never got from the factory was a radio or infotainment system of any kind. The 2005 Harley-Davidson Super Glide Sport left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. Harley built the Super Glide Sport as the aggressive end of the Dyna family — dual front rotors, adjustable suspension, and a mini fairing gave it a sportier ride than the standard Super Glide or Low Rider, while the Twin Cam 88 supplied the low-end grunt Dyna riders expect. It's a bike built to be ridden hard, never one that pretended to need a stereo — until now.
The HogPlay Media Screen mounts directly to the handlebars, right in view alongside the mini fairing's factory gauges. Wiring is simple: tap a switched 12V power source and a solid ground, run the leads, and the screen is live. The mount is fully reversible, so nothing about the FXDX's original controls, cables, or bodywork gets permanently altered.
Every 2005 Super Glide Sport equipped with the HogPlay Media Screen gets two independent Bluetooth channels — one paired to your phone for wireless CarPlay or Android Auto, the other free for a handlebar speaker, auxiliary amp, or portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker covers turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on its own. The whole unit is fully sealed, waterproof, and rugged enough for whatever a sport-tuned Dyna throws at it.
