The 2005 Harley-Davidson Super Glide carries on the original factory-custom formula Willie G. Davidson pioneered back in 1971 — a stripped-down, no-nonsense Dyna built for riders who want big-twin torque without the touring bulk. Power comes from the Twin Cam 88, delivering the thumping low-end pull this platform is known for. What it never got from the factory is a dash screen or infotainment of any kind. No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2005 Harley-Davidson Super Glide left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. Dyna riders bought the Super Glide for its stripped, mid-size feel — a low seat, a raw stance, and enough Twin Cam 88 grunt to make every stoplight interesting. It was never meant to carry a fairing full of electronics, and Harley never offered one on this chassis. The HogPlay Media Screen fills that gap without changing the bike's character.
Mounting is simple: the unit clamps to the handlebars in view of the rider, wires straight to a switched power source and ground, and that's the whole install. No dash cutting, no fairing to modify. The mount is reversible too, so a Super Glide owner can pull it off just as easily as it went on, leaving the bike exactly as it left the factory.
Every HogPlay Media Screen runs dual Bluetooth, so a 2005 Super Glide rider can keep one channel paired to a phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto while the second channel feeds an auxiliary amp, bar-mounted speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and casual audio on its own when you'd rather skip the extra gear. The housing is fully sealed and waterproof, built rugged enough to shrug off rain, road grime, and everything else a Dyna sees on the road.
