The 2004 Harley-Davidson Super Glide carries the name that kicked off the whole factory-custom era back in 1971 — a stripped-down, blacked-out Dyna built for riders who want big-twin torque without the extra chrome. Power comes from the air-cooled Twin Cam 88, a 1,450cc big twin that gives the '04 Super Glide its signature low-end shake and grunt. What it never got from the factory was a stereo. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Super Glide left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. Harley trimmed the Super Glide down to essentials — mid controls, a low seat, and just enough chrome to still look right leaving a bar on a Friday night. It's the bike that proved a factory cruiser could feel like a chopper, and the Twin Cam 88 underneath backs that up with the torquey, mechanical feel the Dyna platform is known for.
Since the 2004 Super Glide has nowhere to plug in a phone, the HogPlay 7-inch Media Screen mounts right to the handlebars, wires straight to power and ground, and draws off the bike's existing electrical system.
