2004 touring bikes — Electra Glide, Road King, Road Glide — carried a factory AM/FM head unit that was already dated by the standards of car stereos at the time, with no CD changer integration for a phone that didn't exist yet. Non-touring models in the same model year had no radio to date at all, just an open triple clamp above the headlight.

Restoring the ride quality on a 2004 Harley-Davidson without ruining the classic look means an aftermarket CarPlay head unit hidden behind the factory faceplate for touring bikes, or a compact Media Screen for Softail, Dyna, and Sportster models.
