The 7-inch unit clamps to the handlebars in view of the rider, wires straight to a switched power source and ground — no factory harness to splice into — and its built-in speaker handles audio without hunting for mounting points elsewhere on the bike. Since it only taps power and ground, the install is fully reversible if you ever want the bars back to stock.
