The 2003 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide rolled out in the brand's 100th Anniversary year, wearing that stretched-fork, low-slung stance that made the Wide Glide a chopper-style icon since the '90s, and running the carbureted Twin Cam 88 that defined the Dyna platform through the early 2000s. What it never got was a factory radio or infotainment system of any kind. The fix for this 2003 Wide Glide is the 7-inch HogPlay Media Screen, adding wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a bike Harley never wired for it.
No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2003 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

Wide-glide front ends, drag-style bars, and a peanut tank gave this bike its outlaw silhouette, and the Twin Cam 88 underneath delivered the torquey, big-twin pull Dyna riders wanted. Anniversary-year trim aside, the cockpit was analog top to bottom - no display, no speakers, no way to route a phone through the bars.
The HogPlay Media Screen mounts right to those bars, wires to a switched power source and ground, and that's the whole install - no dash to cut, no fairing to modify. Once it's powered up, the screen pairs to a phone and puts turn-by-turn navigation, calls, and music right where a rider can see it. The mount reverses for left or right-side placement, so it fits the Wide Glide's bar layout without fighting the stretched geometry.
Bring modern connectivity to a 2003 Wide Glide with the HogPlay Media Screen - a 7-inch bar-mount display built around dual Bluetooth, so one channel pairs your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto while the other feeds an auxiliary amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn prompts and light audio on its own, and the housing is fully sealed and waterproof, built rugged enough for whatever a 20-plus-year-old Dyna throws at it on the road.
