About 2003 Harley-Davidson Road King Models

Road King buyers in 2003 got Harley's cruiser-styled tourer: a classic front end, optional detachable batwing fairing, and a no-frills AM/FM head unit carried over largely unchanged from prior model years. Police and Police Escort trims added radio and siren electronics for duty use, but none of it included digital audio, Bluetooth, or CarPlay — that technology was still more than a decade away from any Harley fairing.

For riders who want modern phone mirroring today, HogPlay offers two routes: an aftermarket CarPlay radio that fits the factory fairing cutout, or a bar-mounted Media Screen that bolts on without touching the stock dash. Both work identically across the Road King with Sidecar (FLHR) and Road King Classic with Sidecar (FLHRCI), giving wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to any 2003 Road King variant.
