The 2003 Harley-Davidson Defender rolled out of Milwaukee during the brand's 100th anniversary year, a milestone season for the Softail & Cruiser line and its low-slung, hardtail-look chassis. Power came from the Twin Cam 88, the big-twin that carried Harley's Softail and Dyna families from 1999 through 2006 with its 88 cubic inches of counterbalanced torque.
