The SS-1824 is the odd one out in Soundstream's motorcycle line — it is built for the 2018-2024 Polaris Slingshot, not a Harley. It replaces the factory head unit and fits the Slingshot dash using OEM mounting hardware, with trim panels included for both the '18-'19 and '20-'24 model years, and it retains the OEM rear view camera. The screen is a 7in QLCD rated at 1000 NIT.
Wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are both native to the unit. A HogPlay USB Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirCast screen mirroring, which the head unit does not do on its own, and a Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and other streaming apps. A bypass adaptor does not apply to an aftermarket head unit.
What HogPlay adds to your SS-1824
Your SS-1824 already does wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, so you don't need us for that. What it can't do is stream: a HogPlay Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and other apps straight to the screen that's already on your bike.
A USB Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirCast screen mirroring — putting your phone's actual screen on the dash, which no head unit does on its own.
A bypass adaptor doesn't apply to a SoundStream unit: a bypass unlocks a factory CarPlay radio, and yours has already replaced it.

USB Piglets
A USB Piglet plugs into the head unit's USB port and adds Mirror Link and AirCast screen mirroring — mirroring your phone's actual screen to the dash, which no head unit does on its own.
Media Boxes
A Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and other streaming apps to the SS-1824, running them on the screen you already have.
Why there's no bypass adaptor here
A bypass adaptor unlocks a factory CarPlay head unit. Once a SoundStream SS-1824 is installed there's no factory radio left to unlock — the SS-1824 already does CarPlay itself. What HogPlay adds on top is screen mirroring and streaming, not activation.
