BRP 10.25" Touchscreen
The 10.25" Touchscreen (2024) is BRP's factory head unit. We haven't finished mapping fitment for it, so we won't claim a bypass or media box works with it until we've confirmed it — we'd rather tell you we don't know than sell you a part that doesn't fit.
What we can tell you today
HogPlay's universal CarPlay screens are self-contained displays — they don't interface with the 10.25" Touchscreen at all, so they fit regardless of what radio your bike has. See the screens.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the factory touchscreen on the Can-Am Spyder and F3?
MY2024+ Spyder RT and F3 models ship with a 10.25″ factory touchscreen that supports wired Apple CarPlay out of the box. It’s a genuine BRP infotainment upgrade over the older non-touch dash, but it comes with a couple of built-in limitations riders don’t always expect.
Does my Can-Am Spyder have CarPlay from the factory?
Only if it’s a MY2024 or newer Spyder RT or F3 with the 10.25″ touchscreen — earlier Spyder years use a smaller non-touch display with no CarPlay support at all. Not sure which dash you have? Run it through our fitment finder to confirm before you buy anything.
How do I know if my F3 is the new touchscreen model or the old gauge cluster?
The giveaway is the screen itself — MY2024+ F3s have a large 10.25″ touchscreen mounted on the dash, while older F3s use a small analog-style instrument cluster with no touchscreen and no CarPlay path. If you’re unsure, check your model year fitment before ordering an adapter.
Does the Can-Am Spyder support Android Auto out of the box?
No — BRP has confirmed Android Auto isn’t available for powersports vehicles, so the factory Spyder system supports Apple CarPlay only. Android riders aren’t left out, though — a HogPlay Piglet adds real Android Auto to the same screen.
Why does my Spyder’s CarPlay need a Bluetooth headset paired first?
BRP gates factory CarPlay activation behind a paired Bluetooth headset — without one connected, the CarPlay icon simply won’t unlock on the touchscreen. It’s a quirk of the factory pairing logic, not a hardware limitation, which is exactly what our USB-C bypass gets around.
Is Spyder factory CarPlay wireless?
No, factory CarPlay on the Spyder and F3 is wired-only through the USB port — there’s no wireless CarPlay handoff built into the system. You’ll plug in with a cable each ride, headset requirement and all, unless you add our bypass.
What does the HogPlay USB-C bypass actually unlock on a Spyder?
The HogPlay USB-C bypass unlocks the Spyder’s factory wired CarPlay without needing a Bluetooth headset paired first — you plug in your iPhone and go. It’s the fastest, cleanest fix for the headset-gate quirk BRP built into the system.
Is the bypass a complete plug-and-play fix on the new Spyder?
Mostly — but be honest with yourself about one step: the newer Spyder also needs a small app loaded on your phone to fully unlock CarPlay alongside the bypass. It’s a quick one-time setup, not a dealbreaker, but skip it and CarPlay won’t fully activate.

Are more bypass options coming for Can-Am?
Yes — we’re actively expanding our bypass lineup for Can-Am platforms as BRP’s software evolves. If your exact setup isn’t listed yet, check back or reach out and we’ll point you to the right fit.
How do I get Android Auto on my Spyder or F3?
Since BRP doesn’t offer factory Android Auto for powersports, a HogPlay Piglet is what actually adds it to your touchscreen. It layers in Android Auto, Mirror Link, and AirPlay on top of the existing screen — no separate display needed.
What’s the difference between the bypass and the Piglet for a Spyder?
The bypass unlocks the existing factory CarPlay without a headset; the Piglet goes further and adds capability the factory system never had — Android Auto, Mirror Link, and AirPlay. Riders often run the two together depending on what phones are in the household.
Can I stream apps like Spotify or YouTube directly on the Spyder screen?
Factory CarPlay handles core phone-mirrored apps, but standalone streaming apps on the touchscreen itself come from a HogPlay Media Box. It’s the add-on riders reach for when they want more than what CarPlay projects from the phone.
Does the Can-Am Ryker have a touchscreen?
No — the Ryker comes with a small 4.5″ non-touch display, and it has zero CarPlay capability out of the box. It’s a completely different platform from the Spyder’s 10.25″ touchscreen, so the Spyder bypass options don’t apply here.
How do I add CarPlay to a Can-Am Ryker?
Since the Ryker’s factory display can’t run CarPlay at all, the path is a bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen — a standalone touchscreen that bolts to the bar and brings CarPlay to the bike from scratch. It’s the same approach we recommend for other no-touchscreen platforms.
What’s a full CarPlay setup for a Ryker look like?
Most Ryker riders start with a Media Screen for the display itself, then stack a Media Box or Piglet on top depending on whether they want streaming apps or Android Auto and AirPlay. Together it’s a complete infotainment build where the factory Ryker offered none.
Spyder vs. Ryker — which one already has a path to CarPlay?
The Spyder RT and F3 (MY2024+) already have factory CarPlay hardware that just needs the headset gate bypassed; the Ryker has no touchscreen at all and needs a bar-mounted screen added from zero. Know which platform you’re working with before you shop — the fix is very different.
Is installing the Spyder bypass a DIY job?
Yes — the USB-C bypass is a plug-in adapter, not a wiring rework, so most riders handle it themselves with basic hand tools and a little patience for the phone app step. No dealer visit or dash removal required.
Does adding a Piglet or Media Box require cutting into the Spyder’s wiring?
No — both connect through existing USB and accessory ports rather than splicing into the factory harness. It keeps the install reversible if you ever sell the bike or swap components later.
I ride two-up with music and turn-by-turn nav — what setup should I run?
Start with the bypass to get clean wired CarPlay for maps and calls, then add a Piglet if your passenger’s phone is Android so they can mirror their own apps too. That combo covers navigation, music, and calls for both riders without fighting the headset requirement.
I mostly want music and phone mirroring on longer highway rides — what do I actually need?
For a Spyder or F3, the bypass alone gets you reliable wired CarPlay for music, maps, and calls on any ride length. If you also want offline streaming apps running directly on the screen, layer in a Media Box.
Where can I see everything HogPlay offers for Can-Am?
Our Can-Am (BRP) hub breaks down every fitment — Spyder, F3, and Ryker — alongside the matching bypass, Piglet, Media Box, and Media Screen options. It’s the fastest way to see what applies to your exact model and year.
