The HR400 ULTRA is Aquatic AV's aftermarket touchscreen head unit for Harley-Davidson touring bikes. It replaces the factory radio outright, and Aquatic AV says it lets you retain full use of your factory handlebar controls with no external module needed. Aquatic AV lists fitment as 2014-2023 Street Glide and Ultra Glide, 2015-2023 Road Glide, and 2015-2024 Tri Glide Ultra and Road Glide 3.
It runs a 7-inch colour TFT-LCD display, with wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth streaming and hands-free calling, AM/FM, USB playback and a camera input. The faceplate is rated IPX6. A microphone and GPS antenna are supplied in the box.
Because the HR400 is an aftermarket unit, a HogPlay bypass adaptor does not apply to it — a bypass unlocks a factory CarPlay radio, and once the HR400 is fitted there is no factory radio left to unlock. What HogPlay adds here is screen mirroring: a USB Piglet brings Mirror Link and AirCast to the unit, which no head unit does on its own. A HogPlay Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and other streaming apps.
What HogPlay adds to your HR400
Your HR400 already does wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, so you don't need us for that. What it can't do is stream: a HogPlay Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and other apps straight to the screen that's already on your bike.
A USB Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirCast screen mirroring — putting your phone's actual screen on the dash, which no head unit does on its own.
A bypass adaptor doesn't apply to an Aquatic AV unit: a bypass unlocks a factory CarPlay radio, and yours has already replaced it.

USB Piglets
A USB Piglet plugs into the head unit's USB port and adds Mirror Link and AirCast screen mirroring — mirroring your phone's actual screen to the dash, which no head unit does on its own.
Media Boxes
A Media Box adds Netflix, YouTube and other streaming apps to the HR400, running them on the screen you already have.
Why there's no bypass adaptor here
A bypass adaptor unlocks a factory CarPlay head unit. Once an Aquatic AV HR400 is installed there's no factory radio left to unlock — the HR400 already does CarPlay itself. What HogPlay adds on top is screen mirroring and streaming, not activation.
