The 2025 Road Glide lineup pairs its shark-nose fairing with Harley's newest 13.4-inch Skyline touchscreen, and that screen's Apple CarPlay only activates over a paired Bluetooth headset rather than a USB cable — a detail that catches a lot of new Road Glide owners off guard the first time they plug in an iPhone. The three-wheeled Road Glide 3 runs the identical dash, so the fix is the same regardless of which frame it's bolted to.

About 2025 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Models
Both the two-wheel Road Glide and the trike-format Road Glide 3 come standard with Skyline, and Skyline was engineered around a paired-headset audio path rather than a wired phone connection. That means CarPlay over USB simply isn't available on either the standard Road Glide or the Road Glide 3 until a Skyline-compatible bypass sits between the handlebar controls and the head unit.
Once that bypass is in place, adding a Media Box brings back full wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the factory Skyline screen — same display, same buttons, just a real USB connection instead of a Bluetooth-only workaround.
