The 2025 Fat Boy steps up to the Milwaukee-Eight 117, the biggest V-twin this model has carried, but the cockpit hasn't changed one bit - still no screen, still no radio, still bare handlebars. HogPlay's 7-inch Media Screen bolts to those bars on just power and ground and gives the bigger-engined 2025 Fat Boy wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the first time.
No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2025 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

New for 2025, the Fat Boy moves up to the Milwaukee-Eight 117, adding real pull to a platform already known for its solid rear wheel and wide front tire. What Harley didn't add is a screen - this is still a bare-bones Softail with nothing wired to the handlebars.
A bigger engine doesn't change what riders want out of the cockpit: navigation on unfamiliar roads, hands-free calls, and access to their own music without touching a phone. With no factory radio on this bike, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto only get here by adding a display, not upgrading one that doesn't exist.
The HogPlay Media Screen is built for that gap - a self-contained 7-inch unit that mounts to the bars, runs on power and ground alone, and comes with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto built in. It also carries Bluetooth audio in and out, so it can pair with a portable Bluetooth speaker or feed an amplifier and speaker setup already on the bike instead of relying only on its own speakers.
The HogPlay Media Screen on the 2025 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy runs a dual-Bluetooth design — pair your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on one channel while the other feeds an auxiliary amplifier, handlebar speakers or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on the move, and the fully sealed, waterproof housing is built rugged to stand up to the weather and the elements the 2025 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy rides in.
