Indian carried the Scout Rogue into 2023 on the same sport-bobber blueprint — 19-inch front wheel, mini-ape bars, blacked-out hardware — while widening the color sheet with a metallic Copper Metallic and a deep Black Azure Crystal alongside the returning dark tones. None of that touches the cockpit: the quarter flyscreen is still bodywork, not a dash, there's no factory touchscreen or CarPlay anywhere on the bike, and the sole factory USB remains an accessory port under the seat. HogPlay adds a 7-inch CarPlay and Android Auto screen with its own speakers built in, mounted at the bars and running off universal USB power — plug-and-play, with nothing to cut.
No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2023 Indian Scout Rogue left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. For 2023 the Scout Rogue keeps its sport-bobber identity — a 19-inch front wheel, mini-ape handlebars and blacked-out finishes — while trimming to eight color options and adding two new ones: Copper Metallic, a warm metallic departure from the mostly-dark palette, and Black Azure Crystal, a deeper crystal black. The returning shades include Black Smoke, Sagebrush Smoke, Stealth Gray, Storm Blue and Black Metallic, plus an ABS-only Black Smoke option. As before, there's no factory infotainment anywhere on the Rogue: the small flyscreen up front is a wind deflector, not a display, the instruments stay simple and analog, and the only factory USB is an under-seat accessory port rather than anything at the dash.
