2022 Ultra Limited & Tri Glide Ultra Infotainment Fix

The two-wheeled Ultra Limited and the three-wheeled Tri Glide Ultra sit at the top of Harley's 2022 touring range, and both carry the same Boom!™ Box GTS unit that hands CarPlay off to a paired headset instead of the dash — great for long hauls, frustrating if you actually want the map on the screen in front of you.

About 2022 Harley-Davidson Ultra Models

Loaded touring bikes like the Ultra Limited and its trike sibling the Tri Glide Ultra pack full fairings, saddlebags, and a top-shelf Boom!Box GTS stereo — but the factory setup still restricts Apple CarPlay to headset-only pairing. A wired Boom! Box GTS bypass reroutes that connection through the USB port instead, putting turn-by-turn navigation and music controls back on the touchscreen where they belong.

Because both the Ultra Limited and Tri Glide Ultra already run premium factory audio, most owners skip a full head unit swap and instead add a Media Box to run the interface, keeping the stock speakers and amp in place. It's the least invasive way to get real CarPlay on a bike that already does everything else right.
