Factory head unitNo factory options — HogPlay Screen recommended

The jump to the Milwaukee-Eight 114 gave the 2021 Street Bob noticeably more torque without changing anything about its bare-bars, no-radio layout. Harley still didn't run a wire toward a screen anywhere on this bike, so there's nothing factory to build around. HogPlay's bar-mounted Media Screen fills that empty space directly, bringing wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a bike that never had either.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2021 Harley-Davidson Street Bob left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2021 Harley-Davidson Street Bob and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2021 Harley-Davidson Street Bob

2021 brought a real power bump to the Street Bob line, with the 114 replacing the 107 and giving this bobber more pull off the line and through the midrange. Everything else about the front end stayed the same - open handlebars, a single round gauge, and no factory radio of any kind.

More power tends to mean more miles, and more miles is where CarPlay and Android Auto start to matter: a nav route pulled up at a glance, an incoming call routed to your helmet, music switched without fishing a phone out of a jacket pocket. None of that exists on this bike until a screen is added.

The HogPlay Media Screen is that addition - a self-contained 7-inch unit that mounts to the bars, needs only power and ground, and runs wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on its own. Its Bluetooth audio in and out lets it pair with a portable Bluetooth speaker or an amplifier and speaker system, giving the 114-powered Street Bob a real media setup it never had from the factory.

The HogPlay Media Screen on the 2021 Harley-Davidson Street Bob runs a dual-Bluetooth design — pair your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on one channel while the other feeds an auxiliary amplifier, handlebar speakers or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on the move, and the fully sealed, waterproof housing is built rugged to stand up to the weather and the elements the 2021 Harley-Davidson Street Bob rides in.
