Carrying the Milwaukee-Eight 107 into its second model year, the 2021 Standard keeps the same bare-bones formula: minimal bodywork, blacked-out finishes, and handlebars with nothing but grips and switches. Harley never gave this bike a screen or a radio to begin with. HogPlay's bar-mount Media Screen turns that blank cockpit into a self-contained hub for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2021 Harley-Davidson Standard left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2021 Harley-Davidson Standard and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2021 Harley-Davidson Standard

The 2021 Standard carries the Milwaukee-Eight 107 in Harley's most pared-down Softail package — no fairing, no stereo, no gauge-mounted display, just clean bars and a torque-heavy V-twin. It's a platform built around subtraction, and the infotainment side of that is simple: there isn't any.

For a lot of riders, that's the one thing missing. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto put turn-by-turn directions in view without a phone clamp blocking the bars, route calls through a helmet headset, and hand over music and podcast control without touching a screen at speed. None of that exists on a bare-bars bike unless it's added as its own unit.

That's the job the HogPlay Media Screen does on a 2021 Standard: it bolts to the handlebars as a self-contained 7-inch display with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto already built in, wired to nothing but power and ground. Bluetooth audio in and out means it can also stream to a portable speaker or hand off sound to an existing amp and speaker setup, so the screen isn't limited to its own built-in audio.

The HogPlay Media Screen on the 2021 Harley-Davidson Standard runs a dual-Bluetooth design — pair your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on one channel while the other feeds an auxiliary amplifier, handlebar speakers or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on the move, and the fully sealed, waterproof housing is built rugged to stand up to the weather and the elements the 2021 Harley-Davidson Standard rides in.
