Harley kept the 2020 Fat Bob's cockpit just as stripped down as the year before — fat front tire, Milwaukee-Eight 114, and bare handlebars with no radio anywhere in sight. Nothing was ever wired in, so there's nothing to bypass or replace. A bar-mounted HogPlay Media Screen fills that gap on its own, adding wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a bike that left the factory without either.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2020 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2020 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2020 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob

The 2020 Fat Bob carries the Milwaukee-Eight 114 in the same fat-tired, blacked-out package Harley introduced a couple of years earlier. It's a bike built around attitude and torque, not electronics — the handlebars are bare aside from switches and grips.

Riders who want navigation, hands-free calls, or music control on the move are stuck reaching for a phone, because the 2020 Fat Bob simply doesn't have anywhere built in to put that information. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto change that by putting the phone's screen right at the bars.

The HogPlay Media Screen is designed for exactly this situation — a bike with no factory head unit at all. It mounts to the bars, needs only power and ground, and runs wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on its own. Its Bluetooth audio also works both directions, so it can send sound out to a portable speaker or pull audio in from an existing amp and speaker setup.

The HogPlay Media Screen on the 2020 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob runs a dual-Bluetooth design — pair your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on one channel while the other feeds an auxiliary amplifier, handlebar speakers or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on the move, and the fully sealed, waterproof housing is built rugged to stand up to the weather and the elements the 2020 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob rides in.

Android Auto on the 2020 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob: HogPlay makes the 2020 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob run wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay — compare every Android Auto for Harley-Davidson & Indian motorcycles option, then confirm your exact fit with What Fits.
