The 2020 Deluxe still runs the Milwaukee-Eight 107, the same low-slung, chrome-heavy cruiser Harley built for long, easy miles rather than dashboard tech. The 2020 Harley-Davidson Deluxe left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. The 2020 Harley-Davidson Deluxe carries on the same low, chrome-laden cruiser look — laced or cast wheels, a driver's spotlamp, and the Milwaukee-Eight 107 doing the work under the tank. Like every year of the Deluxe, it rolled out of the factory with plain handlebars: no radio, no screen, no infotainment of any kind.
Riders still want the basics a modern bike offers — spoken turn-by-turn directions, hands-free calls, and quick access to a playlist — even when the factory never built any of it in. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto put your phone's own navigation, calling, and music apps right on the bars, no separate app or menu system to learn.
Because this Deluxe never had a factory radio, there's no old unit to work around. HogPlay's bar-mounted Media Screen stands on its own as a full head unit, wiring only to power and ground while running wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto out of the box. Bluetooth audio in and out means it can also pair with a portable Bluetooth speaker or hand off sound to an amplifier and speaker system already on the bike.
