Because these bikes shipped with Boom! Box 4.3 or 6.5GT, not GTS, getting Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on your Electra Glide, Electra Glide Police, or Electra Glide Standard means one of two routes: swap in a 2019-2023 Boom! Box GTS head unit paired with a HogPlay GTS Bypass, or drop in one of the aftermarket radios built for these dash openings.
Whichever path you choose, a HogPlay Media Box layers in wireless streaming and a USB Piglet adds Mirror Link and AirPlay support. These model years don't use a headset bypass, so there's nothing to unlock on the factory screen — the upgrade lives entirely in the head unit swap or the aftermarket radio itself.
