The 2014 Harley-Davidson Slim strips Softail styling down to its bones — a solo seat, deep-skirted fenders, and a cat-eye headlamp that channel 1940s bobber attitude, all riding on a Twin Cam 103 big twin that gives this stripped-down cruiser real low-end shove. What the factory left off is anything resembling infotainment: no screen, no navigation, no Bluetooth. That's where the HogPlay Media Screen comes in — a compact 7-inch display that mounts to the bars and finally brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a 2014 Slim built for minimalism, not menus.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2014 Harley-Davidson Slim left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2014 Harley-Davidson Slim and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2014 Harley-Davidson Slim

Harley leaned hard into blackout minimalism on the Slim, and the factory bike shipped with a bare handlebar and a speedometer instead of a stereo. The 2014 model's Twin Cam 103 carries that stripped-back philosophy forward with torque built for cruising, not chasing redlines, which makes it an easy platform to add just one thing back: navigation and music. The HogPlay Media Screen mounts directly to the Slim's bars without altering the bike's lean silhouette, wires straight to a power and ground source, and is fully reversible if you ever want the bars bare again. No dash cutting, no fairing to hack into — just a clean bolt-on that fills the gap the factory left.

Every 2014 Slim leaves the factory without a screen, so the HogPlay Media Screen steps in to close that gap. Dual Bluetooth lets you keep two connections working at once — your phone paired for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on one channel, while the other feeds an auxiliary amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker for real sound on the road. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn prompts and light audio on its own if you'd rather skip external speakers entirely. The housing is fully sealed and waterproof, built rugged enough that Slim owners can ride through rain, dust, or a hard blackout wash-down without worry.
