The 2013 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide carries the stretched-out, drag-inspired stance that's defined the nameplate since the 1990s — forward-mounted controls, a low seat, and that signature 32-degree fork rake, all powered by the Twin Cam 103 big twin that Harley made standard equipment on this Dyna for extra low-end grunt. What it doesn't carry is a factory radio or screen of any kind. Riders wanting navigation or music on the 2013 Wide Glide have to add it themselves, and the HogPlay Media Screen is the cleanest way to do that.
No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2013 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

The Wide Glide's whole appeal is minimalism with attitude — a bare-bones Dyna platform, that raked-out front end, and just enough chrome to look mean without looking cluttered. Harley never offered an infotainment option on this model, so the bars stay clean until you decide to change that.
The HogPlay Media Screen bolts to those bars in a 7-inch housing that fits the Wide Glide's proportions instead of fighting them. Two wires — power and ground — are all it needs, and the mount is reversible so it can go topside or underneath depending on how you want the cockpit to read. Once it's connected, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are live, turning that stripped-down dash into a real navigation and audio setup without touching the bike's wiring harness or original controls.
Every HogPlay Media Screen runs dual Bluetooth, so a 2013 Wide Glide rider can keep a phone paired for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while a second channel feeds an auxiliary amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on its own if that's all you need. The housing is fully sealed and waterproof, built rugged enough to shrug off rain, vibration, and everyday exposure on a bike that was never meant to carry electronics in the first place.
