The 2013 Harley-Davidson Super Glide Custom carries the torch of the original factory custom, a lineage dating back to 1971, wrapped around a rubber-mounted Twin Cam 96 V-twin that keeps the ride smooth mile after mile. Laced wheels, forward controls, and a stripped-down Dyna stance give this bike its unmistakable low, lean profile. What it never got from the factory is a screen: no GPS, no phone mirroring, no infotainment of any kind. The HogPlay Media Screen bolts to the bars and fixes that in an afternoon.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2013 Harley-Davidson Super Glide Custom left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2013 Harley-Davidson Super Glide Custom and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2013 Harley-Davidson Super Glide Custom

Harley built the Super Glide Custom to look like a garage-built chopper without sacrificing the reliability of the stock Dyna platform, and the 96-cubic-inch Twin Cam backs that up with easy low-end torque through a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission. It's a bike meant to be ridden, not babysat with wiring diagrams — which is exactly why the HogPlay Media Screen was designed to install without touching the ignition harness.

The 7-inch unit clamps to the handlebars, taps into a switched power source and ground, and mounts in a spot that keeps sightlines to the road clear. Because it's reversible, nothing about the FXDC's stock wiring or components gets permanently altered — pull it off later and the bike goes right back to stock.

Every HogPlay Media Screen ships ready for two Bluetooth connections at once on the 2013 Super Glide Custom: one channel pairs your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, while the second streams to an auxiliary amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on its own. Sealed, waterproof, and built to shrug off the elements, it's made for the road, rain or shine.
