About 2013 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Models

As the last Street Glide before Harley began overhauling its touring electronics, the 2013 model carried the same batwing-fairing AM/FM stereo the nameplate had used for years. It's a fine setup for basic audio, but the system was engineered long before CarPlay or Android Auto were a factor in motorcycle design, so there's no way to unlock either through software.

HogPlay's answer is a CarPlay-ready aftermarket radio built for the same fairing cutout, or a Media Screen mounted at the bars for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto that leaves the factory stereo untouched. The identical fix applies to the 2013 Road Glide and Electra Glide parked alongside it, since all three share the same underlying platform and fairing shape underneath.
