The 2013 Harley-Davidson Softail Slim strips the cruiser down to its bones—hardtail-style rear end, wide whitewalls, a solo seat, and a low, lean stance that echoes 1930s bobbers, all riding on a Twin Cam 103 that pumps out plenty of low-end torque for open-road cruising. What it never had was a factory radio or navigation screen. HogPlay fixes that: our bar-mounted 7-inch Media Screen brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to this 2013 Slim without cutting into that vintage look.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2013 Harley-Davidson Slim left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2013 Harley-Davidson Slim and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2013 Harley-Davidson Slim

The 2013 Harley-Davidson Softail Slim stripped the cruiser down to essentials — a solo seat, a fat whitewall front tire, and chopped fenders that channel the bobber look Harley built its reputation on.

The HogPlay Screen fits that stripped-down aesthetic without disrupting it, clamping to the handlebar and drawing power and ground from the bike's existing harness rather than adding a bulky console.

It's a reversible install — no cutting into the Slim's dash or fuel tank — that brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a bike that was never meant to have a screen.

No 2013 Softail Slim left the factory with a screen, so HogPlay built the HogPlay Media Screen to bolt onto the bars and cover the gap. Dual Bluetooth is the core of it: one channel pairs your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the other feeds a handlebar speaker, portable Bluetooth speaker, or auxiliary amp, so navigation and calls run alongside your sound setup. A built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn prompts and light audio on its own if you'd rather skip external speakers. The housing is sealed and waterproof, built to shrug off rain, road grit, and vibration mile after mile.
