About 2013 Harley-Davidson Road King Models

The 2013 lineup splits five ways here, and none of them shipped with anything close to CarPlay or Android Auto. Road King, Road King ANV, and the touring-cop Road King Police all carry the same legacy AM/FM head unit, which means the factory face never talks to a modern phone no matter how new the cable is.

Two routes solve it. Swap the stereo for a purpose-built aftermarket CarPlay radio that drops into the existing dash opening, or skip the swap entirely and clamp on a Media Screen that runs navigation, music, and calls off its own display. Riders on the collector-grade Road King Shrine tend to prefer the bolt-on screen since it leaves the original dash untouched.
