The 2013 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Lo takes the solid-disc-wheel silhouette that made the original Fat Boy famous and drops it low — a blacked-out, forward-control cruiser with a 24.25-inch seat height and shortened rear shocks that put both boots flat on the ground. Power comes from the air-cooled Twin Cam 96 big twin, the standard Softail engine of this era. What Harley left off entirely is a stereo: no radio, no screen, nothing to pair a phone to. Harley leaned hard into the Dark Custom look for the Fat Boy Lo: black-finished solid disc wheels, blacked-out engine covers and switches, staggered dual mufflers, and a lower, more aggressive stance than the standard Fat Boy, all riding on the same Twin Cam 96. It's a bike built around stripped-down style, not touring electronics — which is exactly why so many Lo owners end up adding navigation and music after the fact.
The HogPlay Media Screen mounts right to the handlebars in the rider's line of sight, wires to a switched power source and ground, and runs CarPlay or Android Auto wirelessly once paired to a phone. There's no factory harness to splice and no dash to cut into — the install is simple enough for a home garage, and the mount reverses to fit either side of the bars.
A 2013 Fat Boy Lo never left the factory with a stereo, so the HogPlay Media Screen is built to cover the gap on its own.
